Tokyoflash Kisai Rogue Touch Pocket Watch

I really like this new Kisai Rogue Touch Pocket Watch from Tokyoflash. There’s something cool about having something so modern in a retro package, almost vaguely steampunkish. The watch itself is a touchscreen LED/LCD model (always-on LCD, backlight colored LED). It has that looks-confusing-at-first-but-is-actually-really-easy way to tell time that is the Tokyoflash trademark; simply look at the gap in the outermost ring for the hours and the second ring in for the minutes.

The inner circles are actually used to set the time in a second timezone, so it’s a handy pocket watch for traveling. It has a stainless steel case and chain and features an alarm. It’s pretty classy and I actually like the idea of a pocket watch since many people basically use their cell phone as a pocket watch anyway, this is just something a bit nicer and cooler than looking at your phone. $169, limited edition, ships free and comes in your choice of green, red, or blue backlights.
