Beer on a Stick- There’s Something I’m Just Not Getting

I don’t get this gadget.. Why would you want to put your beer on a stick? The manufacturer (Beeronastick.net) says your beer will not get warmed by your hand and your hand will not get cold and wet. Is this really an issue? I have held thousands, perhaps millions, of cups with drinks in them in my lifetime and never have I said to myself “this drink is really making my hand cold and wet, I wish there was a cupholder that allowed me to keep my hand dry and warm”. Maybe if you were dressing up as the Statue of Liberty or an Olympic Torch runner for Halloween would you want to use this as a prop. OK I retract my first statement- it does have a use.
