This tiny Wiimote keychain projects Mario Kart images onto your walls and ceiling (I suppose you could project onto your floor too if you wanted, but why would you?). The officially licensed Nintendo collectible 2.25″ keychain comes in a random assortment of one of six different Mario Kart images and the light source is an internal LED. For just $5.99 it would make a great geek kid stocking stuffer!

Sometimes you need some light when you’re working on something but a flashlight is impractacle because you need to be able to use both hands to work. Sure you could use one of those miner headlamps that go over your forehead but do you really want to mess up your perfect hair? Me neither. That’s why the WristLight is a good idea. It’s basically just a bracelet of light. There are four LED lights inside the $10 light (only sold in pairs for $20), so not only is good for doing handiwork around the house, it’s also good for raves and parties. And for fixing stuff at raves and parties.

Who comes up with these things? What would anyone want to do with an oxygen tank lamp? What sort of horrific decor would this fit in with? What sort of oxygen tank is red- isn’t that for fire extinguishers? Why oxygen, why not helium? So many questions, such a bad lamp. I think that girl’s face in the photo says it all.

The Wet Lamp is an interesting lighting design from Non Designs. It’s a water filled lamp with an exposed lightbulb in the water. The handblown glass lamp has a 10 watt xenon bulb inside it which is low power enough to avoid electrocuting or shocking you. You push down on the rod atop the lamp to push the bulb further into water and adjust the lighting level like a dimmer. Priced at $240 each! Cool lamp.

Nothing says classy like a pair of grill mounted skull lights on your luxury automobile. These tiny tiny lights can shine either red or blue, neither of which is probably street legal in the US. Supposedly these skulls will increase the safety of your vehicle by letting your car be more visible but in reality probably not. There’s nothing I can possibly write here that will top this quote from the product description:
Super high brightness light will make your car looks bright and beautiful, thus can give your car a sense of romance, warm and noble, making it differ from other cars.
Because nothing says warm and noble romance like a pair of 1 inch skull lamps on your bumper. I love just sitting in a candlelit room on a plush rug in front of a fireplace, sipping fine wine and eating chocolate covered strawberries while blasting the Barry White from my car stereo with my LED Skull Lamps shining in through the windows. Ahh the peak of romance.

There’s nothing worse than coming home and standing at your door fumbling to get the key in the keyhole because it’s so dark and you can’t see what the heck you’re doing. Well ok maybe that’s not the worst thing in the world compared to say torture or starvation or whatnot but what if you really had to use the bathroom and could get the key in?
While the Smart Solar Keyhole Light
may not explicitly say that it will keep you from peeing on your doorstep, it will light up your lock when you press it. It comes with three different covers to match your hardware and sticks to your door with an adhesive- no tools needed. One charge will let you light your keyhole 720 times, in case you live above the Arctic Circle and have no light for 6 months of the year.

The Solar Vertical Lamp is one of those concepts that straddles the line between crazy and genius. They look like standard vertical blinds but on the backside are solar panels. During the day, the blinds block the sunlight while charging up. At night with the blinds closed, there are LED lights embedded right into the blinds in different lamp-like shapes. The blinds use the power they’ve collected during the day to light themselves up at night. The results are customizable and unique looking. I could see this in a modern designer hotel perhaps with the “lamps” reflecting the silhouettes of famous designer lighting. Interesting concept.
