Pet Urn Digital Photo Frame Combination

Here’s a combination gadget that sort of makes sense in theory but in reality, it may not be the best idea. The $289 digital picture frame is also an urn for your pet (although I don’t really see anything to stop you from putting human ashes in there instead, but I’m no urn expert). The frame comes in your choice of walnut or oak and can hold 256 mb of your favorite lost pet images. It can also store audio, which is kinda creepy- your deceased pet barking at you from beyond the grave? The pet urn can hold up to 75lbs of remains, which seems like a lot to me.

Pet Tanning Bed

pet tanning bed
Summer is coming and it’s time for you pet to get that base tan so they don’t burn up in the hot sun. The SunSpa is an indoor tanning salon for your dog or cat that simulates sunlight shining through a window. The tanning bed has a 150-watt light to keep the bed at a Miami-like 80-85 degrees for 5,000 hours (it’s best not to use the whole 5,000 hour lifespan in a row- spread it out a little bit). The bed is designed to sooth your dog or cat’s seasonal affective disorder during those long winter months. You could probably get the exact same effect by turning your oven on low and keeping the light on.

One Horsepower Car Actually Powered By One Horse

Posted on Sunday 4 May 2008

one horsepower car
A Dubai man, Abdolhadi Mirhejazi, has put the horse before the car, literally with a vehicle he dubs “Naturmobil”. The horse runs on a fiberglass treadmill behind the driver and powers a battery which powers the car. The driver monitors the horse’s vital signs and can stop the treadmill if the horse is tired or overheated. The car will then run off the stored energy in the battery. All all-weather canopy protects the horse and can be opened in warmer weather helping to keep the car cruelty-free (there’s also no whipping of the horse).

The vehicle can reach speeds of up to 50mph but average cruising speed is a more buggy-like 12mph (20km/h) The horse also generates enough juice to run two LCD screens on either side which are used for advertising. The car is being brought to the USA for exhibit at a festival in California next month.
