Using a laptop in the coach section of an airplane is no problem…until the guy in front of you reclines his seat and suddenly your screen is unusable unless you hold it 5 inches away from your face or scrunch down impossibly low in your seat. Well master modder Ben Heck has come up with a solution (no, not the iPad); a Coach Section Laptop. Ben took a Toshiba Satellite laptop and modified the screen so that it lifts up and out allowing you to type underneath the screen.
It’s still a little rough with the cord sort of dangling in the middle but it’s certainly a “screen saver” (see what I did there?) for people stuck cramped in coach it could be a handy mod. Nice job Mr. Heck.
