Is this the future of laptops? The new ThinkPad W700 just appeared on IBM’s site sporting an optional 10.6 secondary screen attached to the side of the main one like a parasitic twin. The main screen is a 17-inch WUXGA (1,920 x 1,200) display and the secondary one is a 10.6-inch WXGA (1,280 x 768). It’s like having a netbook attached to your laptop. This is ideal for anyone who needs two monitors but desires either portability or less bulk than a traditional desktop machine. I’m curious how it all folds up though.
