Has the world gone insane?! Hitching a ride on a (sweet) van by attaching yourself to it with suction cups? Is this really the solution to the high cost of gas- suction cup hitching? The designer, Robert Nightingale, believes that the triple load vacuum suction cups are strong enough to keep you from flying off. I don’t. And I’m not going to be the one to test this thing out. No way. I’ll take the bus instead (the normal way, by getting INSIDE it).

To be fair to the designer I think you should mention that this was an entry in Fiat’s “Smiles Per Hour” competition and that he cautions that “[This] is a concept that should only be prototyped in zero gravity conditions… And used with salt, about a pinch should do it.” =)
