Wednesday sweepstakes time! Let’s give away some gadgets. If your week is as hectic as mine (and you can tell it’s hectic cause I’m posting this Wednesday afternoon and not morning) then you’re ready for humpday to end so we’re on the other side of the hump and heading towards the weekend. This week we invoke his Jedi greatness Yoda to bestow upon us a charming prize. This week’s sweepstakes is for…a light up Yoda cell phone alerter charm. Here’s Yoda on my keyboard so you can get a sense of scale:
Oh look he happens to be browsing our Twitter feed, what a coincidence. Anyway this ubercool Star Wars figure is programmed to spin and light up in reaction to the frequency emitted by a cell phone. Hang Yoda on your bag, desk, jacket, or on the phone itself and he’ll alert you to any incoming calls or text messages even if the ringer is off. Yoda measures about 1.75″ tall and includes batteries. It works on 800 – 1600 MHz GSM network cell phones.

I have your RSS feed on my Google Reader. I’m a longtime fan of Star Wars. I wore costumes to the premieres of Episodes 1, 2 and 3. I have a massive collection of lightsabers.
