It’s like having a new skateboard every day! While the execution of this Instructables isn’t really the best for riding, the idea is smart. The guy basically made his own skateboard and brushed some chalkboard paint on top in the process. Of course you could do something similar with an existing board, which would be quicker, cheaper, and probably make for a better ride. But cool idea, skater creator dude.

Cake….the final frontier. Check out this delectably sweet solar system cake from Gonzuela’s Cakes (Gonzuela Bastarache). Unlike a typical cake, this one has the decorations INSIDE the cake. That’s actually a twice baked cake and Gonzuela says it’s easy to make and then gives instructions on how to do it that don’t look easy or simple at all. To her credit she did go all old school on it and included Pluto as one of the planets. Now kids, no need to fight over who gets to eat Uranus, there’s enough for everyone. Sweet.

How drunk are you exactly? Find out with Tokyoflash’s newest watch, Kisai Intoxicated. To test your BAC (blood alcohol content), open the cap on the side and blow. The display meter on the right tells you your BAC. The left display has the time (you know, in case that’s something you also wanted in a watch, lol). Time for another beer?

If you’re still not sure about your sobriety level, there’s even a simple moving line video game on the watch you can play. It’s also a gauge of your boredom level at times too. The handsome watch also has the date, an alarm and a color changing LED display. Obviously you shouldn’t make any driving decisions based on the watch’s results, but for a general idea of how wasted you are and a fun party trick, it’s great.

This 9″ tall crooner on a 15″ boat floats around your pool and sings three classic Italian opera songs, “La dona è mobile, ‘O sole mio, and Funiculì, funicular”. Thankfully there’s adjustable volume control. His mouth actually moves when he sings and there’s a light on the gondola’s deck for nighttime concerts. You can control the boat’s path a bit with the rudder. Works in the bathtub too (and obviously if you have a moat it works there too. also you’re pretty awesome if you have a moat.)
