One of the hottest trends in modding today is to take an old retro gadget, console or computer and convert it to a modern usage. There’s a certain irony to the final products. The combinations are nearly limitless and today we have a Sega Dreamcast Controller that’s been modded up by Jay Hauf into an iPhone dock.
I don’t remember the Dreamcast controller being quite so big but then again (shocking revelation ahead) I never actually owned one or played one. This mod doesn’t look like it exactly goes together, it’s like a weird add-on to the Dreamcast controller- a bit more bizarre than cool I’d say. But that is a sweet papercraft collection in the background.
