
Laurier Rochon and Marc Beaulieu built this web-enabled deodorant docking station that tracks how often you’re putting on the roll-on. Each time you remove the speed stick from the dock, it records the date, time, and length of usage and sends it to the web. The device (which actually works and tracks Rochon’s deodorant usage on their website) is designed to be a critique of the overabundance of social networking sites these days. I think it’s more useful as a way of determining whether or not it’s safe to pay Mr. Rochon a visit or not based on his stink (or lack of).
