Motorized Monocyle Looks Freakin Dangerous

The Motorized Monocycle from Hammacher Schlemmer just looks plain dangerous. The nearly 6 foot tall wheel is powered by a 31cc four stroke engine and is steered by having the user lean in one direction or another. The inner seat and hand control area (in red) stays steady while the outer rubber wheel rolls along the ground.  Top speed is 25mph, which probably feels a lot faster when you’re actually INSIDE the wheel.  The monocycle can cruise along for almost 2 hours on half a gallon of gas.
