
There’s nothing more annoying than trying to plug in a USB device only to have the plug upside down, then you flip it over and it still won’t plug in, so you flip it over again and again and then jiggle it and then you stick your whole head about two inches away from the port to see what the deal is and then finally it goes in.
They should just label them with “this side up” to make it easier. But in the absence of labeling, the geeks over at UltraTek have used technology as a workaround with the Flipper USB. The idea is shockingly simple- a USB plug that can be plugged in either way. Hopefully this will become the standard because my neck can’t take all this craning anymore.
