Thanko Earphones Have Sound Facing Away from your Ears

Yes that was the most succinct title I could come up with for this post! When it comes to all things Thanko, the crazy Japanese gadget maker, sometimes it’s hard to be brief. These strange earphones actually rotate 90 degrees so that the sound is not aimed directly into your ears. Huh? That’s what I said too. The purpose is to allow outside sounds to come in so you are more aware of your environment and to make it more comfortable to wear the headphones for along period of time because the entire speaker portion is not inside your ears. It’s not so comfortable for those around you who have to also listen to your crappy music though.
