If you weren’t at DJ Kid Chameleon’s performance a few weeks ago at Phoenix then you missed the debut of this insane homemade digital helmet. The Daft Punk-like headgear was made from an old Mac Plus with an iPad mounted in where the screen should be and attached to a deconstructed bicycle helmet to fit the DJ’s head. Then a sound activated electroluminescent patch was affixed to the front as well. The helmet was then hooked up to an iMac to provide some wild visual effects to accompany the music.
