You don’t actually bang on the tubes to get the sound, you just wave your hand or the included percussion sticks over the tubes and it breaks the invisible motion sensitive beam and makes a different electronic sound for each tube. Blue Man Group music is included but you can also plug in your iPod and jam along with your own tunes.
