Asteroids lamps! Asteroids was one of the greatest arcade games of all times. In fact it is Atari’s greatest selling game of all time- still. In the video game you were trying to destroy the asteroids but you definitely don’t want to destroy these Asteroid Lamps because they’re really cool. As far as video game themed household accessories- these are more classy than cheesy, more polished than DIY. The lamps have 24 irregular sides for a unique lighting look as they cast a celestial glow.
You can use the Asteroid lamp as a table lamp, floor lamp, or pendant lamp. The irregularity of the sides lets you position it in a few different ways, slightly altering the emanating light. The lamp was designed by Koray Ozgen and measures 11.75″W x 11.5″L x 10.25″H, is made of polypropylene and costs $179 shipped.
