Light from MP3 Player Saves Lost Skiers

A pair of lost French skiers in Savognin, Switzerland were saved by the light from their MP3 player. The dynamic duo alerted authorities to their situation via cellphone but the battery ran out before they could be reached. They were later found by a helicopter from Swiss air rescue association Rega which spotted the light from their MP3 player. The 22 year old pair survived with only mild hypothermia. So the lesson is that an iPod can save your life.
