Digital Tattoo Bluetooth Implant

Become a cyborg! The conceptual Digital Tattoo Interface was an entry in this year’s Greener Design Competition. The bluetooth ready silicon sheet is implanted under the skin with two tubes, one connected to an artery and one to a vein. The device uses only the pulsing of your blood for power. It remains unseen until you press it on and then it can provide a multitude of functions depending on what it’s programmed for and what bluetooth devices are nearby. For example, if matched up to your cellphone, you would press on your arm and keypad and video image of the caller would appear as a tattoo on your arm. It can also measure blood related vital signs. The Digital Tattoo Interface is truly a bizarre concept that seems like it’s right out of the Terminator and might bring us one step closer to becoming cyborgs.
