Humpday Giveaway: $25 Threadless Shirts Gift Certificates from Droolr.com: ENDED

CONTEST ENDED…CONGRATS TO THE 3 WINNERS:

Welcome to the midweek giveaway. We’re doing something a little different for this week’s Craziest Gadgets Humpday Gadget Giveaway and the odds are in your favor. First off congrats to last week’s randomly chosen winner of the Scrolling LED Belt Buckle: Heather.

So we’re not actually giving away a gadget this week- OH NO!!! Don’t worry- instead we have some $25 geeky gift certificates to Threadless.com where you can pick out cool shirts for guys, ladies, or kids- like this one (or hundreds of others):

So we have three, that’s right THREE Threadless gift certificates to give out ($25 each) thanks to a new site called Droolr.com. Here’s the deal- the nice folks at Droolr have started a website they are calling a “wishlist for geeks”. Basically you can share, discover and vote on the latest in gadgets, electronics and novelty items. You link it to your Twitter or Facebook account, so no need to create a separate login and it’s easy to comment on and share gadgets you come across on sites like this with your friends.

So check out Droolr.com and when you leave a comment below to enter this sweeps, be sure to let us (and the Droolr people) know what your thoughts are about Droolr. Give them some feedback please.

To win, you should also subscribe to our RSS Feed or our once daily email and then leave a comment below. Every week we will have different, cool, unique (and valuable) gadgets to give away and you don’t want to miss out! (if you’re already subscribed- thanks- just leave a comment)

The rules:

  1. This sweepstakes will run now through Tuesday March 16th, 2010 5pm Eastern time.
  2. One entry per person (yes we can tell if you enter more than once).
  3. We will choose THREE winners at random from the comments below.
  4. This contest is open to all (as long as it’s legal in your area).
  5. If you’re on Twitter (all the cool kids are) why not follow CraziestGadgets Twitter and retweet this?
  6. Be sure to leave a valid email when you comment so we can contact you if you win.
  7. Your email won’t be visible to other visitors on the site and will ONLY be used to contact the winner.
  8. Good luck!

  1. droolr is pretty cool.. there should be a “do not want” button for items that you dont like too

  2. droolr seems interesting alright.

    nice gear…

btw check out the latest spy cams and gadgets at freshgears.blogspot.com

  3. some interesting stuff on that site, some rather boring stuff… might be worth further investigation. :3

  4. I’m a daily email subscriber.
Some totally useless items on Droolr but somehow they’re appealing!

  5. My engineer boyfriend is a sucker for this kind of stuff. He will love that new website.

  6. I think they hit the nail on the head with the name “Droolr”, my boyfriend will totally be drooling over at least half the stuff on the site when I show it to him! I thought the floating motorized couch boat was pretty clever, too!

  7. I love the site! I started looking through and already see items I want to get such as the self stirring mug from think geek. I love the sites setup, style, and that it’s easy to navigate.

  8. Email subscriber. Visited Droolr and this is just my opinion, but, it was hard to concentrate on the products because my eyes kept being drawn to that blue color.

  9. great shirt and cool site idea/concept droolr though the boldness of the blue is a bit distracting from the product.

  10. Email Subscriber!

Wow they have some interesting and fun stuff. The Lego Digital Camera is pretty cool!

  11. The name DROOLR is just awesomel but not quite as awesome as the electric sofa boat. I can’t tell my husband about this website or he’ll buy me the Portopong for my birthday.

  12. Email subscriber!

The website’s a really cool idea. Fun place to find new random stuff :).

  13. o.O I just had a geek-gasm. Things I did not know I NEEDED to survive… all in one place. I think I may have drooled on my keyboard a little…

  14. O.K. So, I checked out droolr.com & to be honest I didn’t really get the whole concept of it. There was some pretty cool items on this site but there was not quick links to purchase them or even find out how or who made these items.
I don’t know maybe it’s just me but that site seemed like a huge waste of time and not to mention wasted effort trying to figure out it’s point.
I suppose there is a chance I am just being a moron, if this is the case & someone feels like explaining it to me that would be fantastic.
    My E-Mail addy is: anna.adams@live.co

  15. I selected the Tokyoflash Rogue LED / LCD Hybrid watch. As I know my husband spends hours looking for odd things. I am going to show the site to him. I loved the bath tub too.

  16. I subscribe to email!

That was such a great site I could spend hours there! I bookmarked it. I especially like all the furniture.

  17. I’ve been a fan of threadless for a few years, I’ve got a small collection, would be great to add to it.

  18. Droolr… reminds me of Kaboodle.com, only with a bigger item rater. Perhaps they could take a few tips from there? It’s a good placeto check out what other geeks like us want though. (what is this, a touch screen with no screen?!!?)

  19. I’ve subscribed to your RSS Feed. Droolr sure has a wide variety of wishable products – I’m thinking I might really need a Diamond-encrusted Luxury Tissue Box.

  20. I had never heard of Droolr before – I love their site, my only suggestion to them is to get some publicity!

  21. I subscribed via email. And I definitely saw some geeky things I would love to have on Droolr. What a cool site!

  22. I love threadless tees and think Droolr is a pretty cool site to learn about gadgets and other geek stuff that I like.

  23. I signed up to this RSS feed. I like Droolr so far. It isn’t obvious to me how one submits stuff to the site, though?!

  24. Droolr is pretty great! It’s nice to have a list of items that I actually want, without going through all the other crap items like most sites.

  25. The Droolr site looks pretty cool! I like the idea of earning karma points for submitting new items.

I subscribe to Craziest Gadgets via email.

  26. I subscribe via google reader..and sooo excited..who wouldn’t be ?

  30. Yeah, just what I needed… another site to make me want to buy a whole bunch of stuff that is super awesome, but that I don’t really need.

Seriously though, it looks like a cool site.

  37. Very neat site! I found a lot on there that my geeky husband and daughter would love like the Imperial Star Destroyer SpecPlate. Yeah that would be hung in our office lol!

  38. I never knew Droolr existed until a few days ago! I wish I would’ve known about it before Christmas! Being in the nerd-herd myself, I pride myself on having goofy gadgets and all of the coolest new items. I absolutely HAVE to have the Electric Sofa Boat and the Self Stirring Mug! I will be purchasing the iControlPad for my video-game-obsessed boyfriend right away! I’m so glad I stumbled on your site and both Visa and Mastercard should be too! šŸ™‚

  39. I subscribe, and I love the site. It has a clean easy to navigate layout, and for a nerd like me, its HEAVEN!
