Singing Paintbrush is Like Mortimer Ichabod Marker from Picture Pages

The Brush with Genius is a “magic” watercolor paintbrush that sings while you paint. When you put the wet brush to paper (or your finger to the metal strip on the brush) the watery circuit is complete and the brush starts making music just like magic. It’s also just like Mortimer Ichabod Marker from Bill Cosby’s Picture Pages, a show I had never heard of because I lived in a yurt for most of my youth but I’ve found a video clip:

I sort of see the resemblance I guess. You can tell from that clip why one of them went on to major sitcom, overweight cartoon character and pudding pop fame and the other- not so much. I’ll resist the urge to compare her acting to watching paint dry but let’s just say that running circles around my childhood yurt would be more exciting.
