Furniture Made from Coins

At what point do you become so rich that you actually have furniture made of money? Johnny Swing makes furniture out of coins. A lot of coins. The couch above is made from 7000 nickels (and I’m sure it sells for waaay more than just the $350 it’s worth in coins). The coin couch, like all his other furniture is extremely labor intensive to create. There’s over 35,000 welds in that couch alone.

The coins are mounted on a stainless steel substructure. I’m not sure how comfortable it would be to lounge out on some coins, but you could always prop yourself up with a dollar bills stuffed pillow. No pricing on the website but you can be sure it cost some serious coinage.
