
No seriously the Pikasso guitar from custom guitar maker Manzer does very much look like something Pablo Picasso himself would have painted (one might argue it has some Dali-esque qualities as well). It has 3 necks, strings coming from every which way, yet it does resemble a normal guitar in some ways, albeit slightly deconstructed. There are 42 strings on this crazy guitar, so you would think you would have to be an octopus man to be play it properly. But you’d be wrong. The Pikasso was originally designed for jazz legend Pat Metheny and he actually played it in concert many times. Here’s some video of it in action after the jump:
It almost plays like a harp and a guitar in one. That’s one cool guitar.
