Check out this incredible action figure lamp from designer Ryan McElhinney. The lamp consists of recycled action figures glued to a lamp base, painted, and coated with a high gloss polyurethane lacquer. The results are absolutely striking.
This is exactly the sort of project you look at and say “Hey I can make this at home, no problem” BUT you just know it would end up looking like a 3rd grade art project. And not the star pupil A+ project, it’ll be the I’m giving you a C+ because you’re a good kid but really you have no art skills and are bound to be an accountant in your later life type of art project. Leave this type of thing to the designer experts.
