Here’s an interesting idea- instead of just storing your folding chairs in the basement or in a storage closet somewhere, why not have them fold up into some other useful type of object? That’s exactly what these Mosaic Folding Chairs from Oda Architecture do- they fold up almost totally flat and are then linked together to form a screen or room divider.

The chairs are made from a sturdy aluminum frame with the seat and back being made from mosaic tiles embedded in silicon which allows for both strength and beauty (2 things I can totally relate to). As far as room dividers go- they look pretty good.
