Pulse Jet Powered Bicycle is Fast, Mildly Insane

Robert Maddux is crazy. He is building bicycles powered by a pulse jet engine. The kerosene fueled engine can get the bike going up to 75mph. How fast is that? Take a look at this video of the jet engine bicycle being driven by it’s creator:

These loud (140 db) engines will blow either your ears or your socks off. Either way, something’s getting blown off (and not in the good champagne room at the strip club way either).

If you’re interested in buying one, and I know you are, this seller on eBay Pulse Jet Powered Bicycle is Fast, Mildly Insane , who I believe is Robert Maddux himself, has been listing the 50lb pulse jets engines- about one per week for the last month or so.
