Straight from Japan (natch) comes the knife slash proof shirt. This lightweight, machine washable, shirt can prevent slashings- it is still vulnerable to stabbings though! If you’re like me this will be super-useful, I practically can’t walk out of my house without getting stabbed.



This tough mesh fabric is said to be 3 times stronger than cotton (does this mean I can wear 3 cotton t-shirts and be slash proof?). A short-sleeved version starts from $190 and long-sleeved varieties can cost from $220 to $590.
