Everyone loves to tap along to the beat on their legs so why not turn your jeans into an actual drum kit? We’ve seen the drumkit shirt before but this is more of a DIY project called the Ubiquitous Drum Pants created by Boris Smus. He used an Arduino, a pair force sensitive resistors, some wires taped to his pant legs and a python program on his computer to translate the taps into audible beats. Check out the video to see it in action:
Future plans include hooking it up to wifi so that it can send the beats to any wifi device like a smartphone and hooking one up to his shoe to create a kick drum sound.
