Philips USB Toothbrush: Does Everything Need to Charge via USB?

The USBicizing of America continues with the Philips Sonicare HX9332/05 Diamondclean Rechargeable Toothbrush, the electric toothbrush that charges via USB. The coolest part about this toothbrush is the charging glass- that normal looking drinking glass is actually an inductive charger sitting on a power base that you plug in. To charge up the toothbrush, just put it in the glass- that’s it. You can also use it to rinse out your mouth or do your morning whiskey shot.

Of course if you’re traveling or don’t like to leave your computer for more than a minute at a time you can use the USB charger with the travel case instead. The toothbrush also actually gets your teeth clean (shocker!) with it’s angled diamond shaped head and sonic plaque-busting technology. It has five cleaning modes: Clean, White, Polish, Gum Care, or Sensitive and a quad timer to make sure you spend enough time brushing each of the 4 sections of your mouth. It’s probably the most advanced toothbrush you can buy- and appears to be priced accordingly. (via gizmodo)
