You don’t have to be an artist to draw your own self-portrait with Kyle McDonald’s Blind Self-Portrait Machine. The device uses a computer to scan your face and convert it to a one-line drawing. The artist/subject then holds a pen and places their arm on a moving wooden platform which traces the shape of the drawing. The result is a machine-aided self portrait. It’s just that easy.

It’s kinda like a photobooth but not really. It would definitely be fun for parties. Nice job Kyle. (via make)
