Vivitar’s $50 Waterproof Night Vision Pocket Sized Video Camera

The Vivitar DVR-510 packs a lot of punch into a small inexpensive video camera. This lightweight video camera measures 4.5″ x 2.25″ x0.75″, weighs just .8 pounds and supports VGA resolution up to 640 x 480 at 30 fps. It has an 8x digital zoom, 1.8″ preview screen, and an SD memory card reader. What makes this camera truly unique compared to competitors such as the Flip is it’s ability to film using infrared night vision and it’s waterproof casing. Nighttime in the rain? No problem.

  1. Looks like it was panned badly in Amazon, there are some red flags up..Waterproof and infrared for $50.??

    Step cautiously.

  2. yeah for $50 it’s almost more like a toy, a camera to mess around with, take with you to places that might damage your regular camera. you have to set your expectations a little bit lower at this price point.
