Here’s a novel concept in speed bump design; a speed bump that flattens out when you cross it at low speeds. The idea is that it would reward careful slow drivers who approach the speed bump at speeds below 15mph by giving them smooth passage over the speed bump while those who speed will get hit with the bump. Drivers going at the proper safe speeds can drive right over the speed bump without having to slow down.
