What would happen if two giant pop cultural giants met up into a single mashed up being? You’d have PDiddy singing “Missing You” about Notorious B.I.G. to the tune of The Police’s “Every Breath You Take”. But what if those two pop culture giants were Hello Kitty and Star Wars? Then you’d have Hello Wars, a geeky mashup. All it is right now is just $1 vinyl stickers with mashup names like Luke Kitty, Storm Kitty, r2k2, Hans Kitty, and ChewKitty but they’re oh so cute.

Sometimes a little space can make a big difference (at least that’s what the restraining order against me says, basically). Someone has put a little space in the middle of Space Invaders to make it Space In Vader and now blammmmmo- instant video gaming Star Wars mashup shirt. Plus the little 8 bit version of Darth Vader’s helmet to complete the effect. Neat shirt.

It’s east meets west with the Akashi vinyl figure from sculptor Dave Bondi. Akashi is a mashed up mixed up bizarro combination of everyone’s favorite video game plumber Mario and Disney’s iconic Mickey Mouse. The 9 inch tall figure “blurs the boundaries of copyright” and is limited to 250 pieces. Costs $65 for this strange and cool collectible.
