Hey witches and Monty Python fans, this new book just dropped called Monty Python’s Flying Circus: Complete and Annotated…All the Bits and it features completed annotated and illustrated scripts for all 45 episodes of the Flying Circus (who you may remember from such skits as: “The Ministry of Silly Walks,” “The Dead Parrot,” “Banter in the Cheese Shop,” “Spam, the Funniest Joke in the World,” “The Spanish Inquisition,” “The Argument Clinic,” “The Fish-Slapping Dance,” “The Lumberjack Song”). They call it a “bible of the absurd”. Sounds about right. You get still shots from over 2,000 key scenes from the show with the every line transcribed in the book with all the commentary, context, and criticism confined to the margins alongside the meat. This book clocks in at around 900 pages, so obviously it’s a must-have for any Monty Python fan.
