Adidas Twitter Shoes Display Tweets

Shoe customizer Alex Nash (aka Nash Money) created these custom Adidas Barricade shoes that display their own tweets. Yes the shoe has a Twitter account @adidasbarricade and it has more followers than you (and is probably more interesting). Check out how he did it here:

That certainly seems like a lot of circuitry and work to get a small LCD screen onto a shoe. These were obviously done for fun and promotional purposes rather than a wearable production shoe. Personally, I would have just glued an iPhone on the heel and been done with it. But hey, no judgements here, whatever works for you. (via fashioning tech)
