How cool is this? The iPhone 4 comes with a mirrored Apple logo on the back, which unlike it’s more exciting MacBook buddy, doesn’t light up when it’s on. But one Portuguese company is modding iPhone 4′s so they light up. For a little over $100 they will switch out the back plate and put an LED inside so your Apple logo will cast a glowing light. An app is used to control the light. Check out the video:
That’s really cool. The process takes about 45 minutes to complete and they plan on selling DIY kits with instructions at a later date. They claim the LED light decreases battery life by only 1% and is reversible. (thanks to Miguel for the tip)
