Spiral Reservoir Pens Hold Double the Ink

This concept is so simple and logical it’s shocking that nobody has thought of before. Instead of a straight ink reservoir inside your pen why not make it spiral shaped to hold twice as much ink in the same amount of space? I’m not sure why they couldn’t just make the inkwell twice as wide and tapering down to a point but this one does make some sense. Would the ink get stuck in the spiral? Can you wrap two spirals around each other in the same pen? Cool concept.
