Alicia Travera (of Boba Fett quiche fame) made this super sweet Luke v. Darth piñata set for a Star Wars party she was having. She literally crafted this from scratch- Luke was made from a few cardboard boxes cut up and glued together.
Appropriately colored tissue paper was taped up all over to make it look like Luke Skywalker complete with detachable hand (velcro!). His belly was filled with candy and a rope attached to hang Luke from a tree.
The next step was making a Darth Vader blindfold and of course the Darth Vader lightsaber piñata stick (rake handle painted red).
Then he was hung from a tree and smacked open until the goodies spilled everywhere. Nice crafting. The Star Wars party sounds like it was a lot of fun.
