$190,000 Speakers Shaped Like Ears

Avantgarde has designed an expensive set of speakers called Trio Classico that are modeled in part after a pair of human ears. Three horn drivers- low-midrange, midrange, and tweeter and four dedicated subwoofers combine to give you sound that’s probably not really worth the $190,000 price tag.

The speakers are about 5 feet tall and in my opinion look much better from the top angle than straight on. So maybe if you’re really tall or have mirrored ceilings, these would look good in your abode. The design could be worse I guess, they could have been shaped like ears… of corn.
