Artists Johannes P. Osterhoff created a real life Mac OS X home icon out of wood calling it “Home, Sweet Home”. While it may not be quite big enough to live inside, it is easy to strap on and tote around like a super nerdy Halloween costume (next year!)
The attention to detail is pretty striking. Johannes used tiny wood shutters for the shutters, curtains inside, and a realistic door. The project was last spotted at the Ars Electronica 2010 exhibit in Austria.
If this thing had three more walls and a solid roof I would totally go camping in it. Well done.
