Tokyoflash has just released their first new watch in a looong time and it’s a beauty! The Kisai Broke watch features a striking fragmented display in a brushed stainless steel case that’s a bit stained glass-esque. Interestingly enough this watch is even USB chargeable.

Of course it wouldn’t be Tokyoflash if there wasn’t a unique way to read the time and this one actually isn’t too difficult. Press the side button and the LED lights animate briefly. The outer ring of lights represents the hours, the inner ring the minutes and in the very middle a vertical line of four single digits. The unlit blocks simply line up where normal clock hands would and then you add the single minutes, so the top watch here is set for 1:23 and the bottom one shown here is 1:21. Simple and cool once you know the trick!
This water resistant watch is available from Tokyoflash for $168 with free shipping and a one year warranty.
