Darth Vader Jesus

Darth Vader as Jesus, part of Munkapeni’s Personal Jesus series of mixed media art pieces featuring various figurines of superheros and other famous folk crucified. The works were created “to protest to how Christ has become commodity, a parody of the parody of the Christian Right’s appropriation of the symbol of a crucified martyr worshipped by millions”.
