Check out this insane merry-go-round style coat check at Rotterdam’s Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen. Dam! The coats are lifted high above the patron’s heads and rotate in a giant circle like a massive version of the rotating racks you see at your dry cleaners. Make sure to secure all the junk in your pockets before checking your coat! It works via a hook and pulley system- you put your jacket on the rack and use a pulley in the middle to hoist it up to it’s “spatial ballet”. You can then lock the pulley with a lock. Gotta love the Dutch. I might just make a trip out to The Netherlands just to see this thing. Definitely.
