Don’t you just hate when you’re eating somewhere and they push two tables together and you end up sitting right at the crack inbetween the two tables? The tables are never at the same height and it’s always just plain awkward. It’s the third worst seat in the house after the one right near the restroom or a drafty front door. The appropriately named “Plate For People Who Sit Between Two Tables”, designed by Shira Nahon, might just help. Although if I was in a restaurant and they brought out the Middle Seat Plate for me, I’d probably walk out (laughing).
