A Music Playing Ottoman

Music playing furniture. Michi Jung has created Music Chocolate, an ottoman with integrated speakers. It’s an entire sound system, all you need to do is plug in your iPod and the footrest starts singing like a mob informant getting a wedgie (atomic, natch). Worst metaphor ever? Maybe. Well if you thought that didn’t make any sense then maybe neither does this ottoman since the sound is aimed at- well actually it’s not really aimed at anyone unless you’re sitting on the floor. And I think it’s a pretty fair assumption that if you own a fine piece of living room furniture like this ottoman, you’re not going to be sitting on the floor, you’re going to be sitting on your sofa with your feet up.
