Chess is a strategic game where the pieces are modeled after Medieval forces like Knights, Queens, Kings, Castles, and Bishops, so it’s only logical that someone would make a chess set entirely out of that favored fabric of Medieval times- chain mail. I didn’t know it was possible to create such intricately detail work in chain mail (although I’m admittedly completely unfamiliar with the material, having never gotten into that whole Renaissance Fair thing…although this one time in dominatrix camp….).

The chess board and pieces are made of stainless steel and bronze wire and look like they would take forever to do. The whole thing is pretty cool and presumably not as dizzying to look at in real life as it is in photos on the internets.
