Twittering Sculpture Speaks Art Tweets Aloud

Posted by: Jeff In: Weird Stuff

The video above shows a Twitter based art project sculpture by Márton András Juhász along with Melinda Matúz, Gergely Kovács and Barbara Sterk, entitled “Where is your art?”. He connected various hacked electronic toys on poles to the internet. They are actually robotic toys with their outer skins removed to show them as just the raw parts they are made of. Anytime someone tweets the word “art” on Twitter, the sculpture will speak that entire tweet aloud using text to speech software. The video doesn’t clearly show this, but you get the idea. If anyone knows where this is being exhibited, leave it in the comments please.
