Karim Rashid Designed TV Bathtub

Industrial designer Karim Rashid is well known for his use of the rounded form to create blob-like objects with a smooth modern aesthetic. Well Rashid has taken his unique style to Korea’s Saturn Bath Co. to design the TV Tub, a sleek bathtub with an integrated flat screen television at the foot of the tub. It’s made as one piece so it looks very finished unlike most other bathroom televisions that end up looking like a cheesy afterthought (usually because they ARE an afterthought). Made of liquid acrylic, this deep oval-shaped soaking tub makes this shower person want to take a bath. A nice long warm bath with my favorite show on TV. It’s wired for cable, right?
