Here’s a simple idea to reuse old rubber kickballs. If you’ve got a dog like mine, or your child has claws like freakin’ Wolverine, or you have a pet wolverine, you’re probably going to end up with a lot of flattened punctured balls. As the old saying goes, if you can’t duct it, fugheddaboudit. Or something like that.
This is a great eco-friendly idea to keep those broken balls out of the landfill. And as a bonus, it won’t hurt too much if you slam your head against it accidentally (or on purpose, if that’s what you’re into, freak). You could probably do this or something similar with other discarded balls like soccer balls, basketballs, or maybe even footballs.

Great! I loved those red rubber balls as a kid. The next time I see one at a garage sale I’m going to scoop it up. Thanks!
