The “Muscle Mouse” from Thanko (JP) is probably the weirdest mouse we’ve seen yet. It’s a regular USB optical mouse but halfway up the cord is a connector where you plug in a wired set of EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) pads. You attach the pads to whatever body part is feeling sore that day and control the stimulation levels with the special side buttons on the mouse.

Now you can get a muscle massage without ever leaving your desk. EMS is also known as neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) or electromyostimulation and can be used as both a training and therapeutic tool. Weird gadget.
